I was lucky enough to to spend a day at Has Bean HQ yesterday along with some amazing coffee peoples. It was basically a day for all the Has Bean customers who are competing in the UK Barista Championships to geek out and talk about it a bit. Massive thanks to Steve & Dale for having us all.

I took these three shots in pretty quick succession while sitting on the steps in the square in Nottingham centre. The amount of diversity & culture you can take in here just by sitting down for a few minutes is awesome, I could have sat all day & people watched. I used my Canon AE-1, Canon 135mm F/3.5 & Kodak Color ISO400.
When I ordered this lens I wasn’t super stoked about it, it felt like more of a necessity thing. But the closer I got to the delivery date the more excited I got about it and now I’m over the moon that I have it in my kit bag. It really completes my arsenal of lenses — 10mm, 28mm, 50mm & 135mm (I only shoot on primes).
So I thought I’d share a few of the very first shots to come out of this lens, they are nothing special, they are the typical “I just got this lens out of the box” photos… but I’m ok with that.
